We specialize in authentic Greek food such as Mousaka, Pastitsio, Roasted Lamb, Fresh Fish from Greece (Sea Bass & Sea Bream), Greek Salads, Delicious Greek Appetizers such as Eggplant Salad, Stuffed Vine Leaves, Taramosalata, Greek Honey, etc. We carry various types of Greek Olives, Greek Cheeses (Feta, Manouri, Kasseri) as well as our award winning premium quality “Eliki” and “Therapni” cold pressed 100% extra virgin olive oils. We import most of the food that we sell directly from Greece. We have special relationships with our Greek suppliers most of whom are farmers, bee keepers, olive growers, etc. We have known many of these people and their families for years. This allows us to pick and choose the best food products that the Greek nature has to offer and to maintain absolute control of the quality of our food. This allows us to deliver to our valued customers in Los Angeles and throughout the United States food of premium quality and superior taste that is practically impossible to find anywhere else. As a result, at our little Taverna you will find top quality nutritious and wholesome cooked Greek food that you may not be able to find even at very expensive high-rated restaurants at very reasonable prices. Our recipes for many of the dishes that we offer come directly from our family in Greece and therefore our Greek food is 100% authentic. We absolutely do not cut corners when it comes to the quality of the ingredients that we use or the food that we offer because our main goal is to provide our customers with a unique dining experience. We are currently asking customers that enjoy Roasted Lamb on a spit and/or Fresh Sea Food from Greece such as Lavraki (Mediterranean Sea Bass or Loup de Mer) and Tsipoura (Gilthead Sea Bream or Royal Dorado) to provide us with their contact information (name, phone number and email) so that they can be notified in advance when these delicacies are available for reservations. All of these foods are prepackaged and/or pre-cooked and ready to eat. We do provide catering services for special events throughout the Los Angeles area.
